At the very beginning of the song it kind of reminded me of some medieval/castle music that I've heard in a video game before, which I really liked. I also liked how that evolved into a beat with a snare and some electronica stuff going on (and some other sounds that I don't know the names of, of course) then goes back to how the song started out, but with those elements being slowly added in (except for the beat, since that gets added in right away once it starts again).

I'm really glad to see some new music from you! It's been a little while! Keep up the great work with your music!

This is a great cover, no doubt about it. I like your voice better than the lead singer of Fuel's voice. His sounds a little rough and your voice flowed better when you were carrying out the long notes. I like how you carried out 'away' and 'again' longer than he did, it sounded better. Your voice did sound a little off at the beginning of the song, but it got better as the song progressed.

Also, I was wondering if you could do a cover of Something in the Way by Nirvana. I'd like to hear how your voice sounds when it's in a way softer tone and that song would be a great one to cover so people could hear your softer vocals. I know this song was an acoustic one, but I think you might've just been a tad too aggressive while singing it. I know in your author comments you said that you think this song deserves a second take and if you do a second take I'd love to hear it.

Stereocrisis responds:

Sure dude, I'm always doing second takes and third and fourth takes. I do cover Something In the Way so, I could do that.

As a big Nirvana fan, this song was actually a pretty good cover for someone on Newgrounds, in my opinion. You have a good voice, but you could've screamed more like in the actual song as the song progressed. Nonetheless, I enjoyed it. Keep it up the good work, man.

Stereocrisis responds:

Thank you DeftonesFan

I really like the beat! You should make it into a full song.

This would be amazing for a game intro. That's the first thing that came to mind. A game intro with an emotional intro about a character or characters. This song would be perfect for that.

I really love this song! Most of It could be used as a movie or game soundtrack. It could really fit into something that is going slow and then slowly picks up the pace. I just don't really like the part where it sounds like a voice comes in.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Please elaborate as to why you dislike said instrument/section in a horrifyingly descriptive pm to me! I appreciate your opinion and words!

It has a nice classical sound to it and it goes well with the snare in the background. But what really makes it good is when the dubstep comes in out of no where. Great job!

Lone-X responds:

Thank you! I am glad you dig the sneaky dubstep lol.

Peace and love,
Lone X

It reminds me more of watching the sunset, but that's just me. That's what I always imagine when I listen to a relaxing song. Any song that can put that image in my head is an excellent song, so I'm defiantly adding this to my favorites. Awesome job! I really loved the guitar!

DanJohansen responds:

It could actually work for that setting as well with the right state of mind. Glad you enjoyed it man!

This sounds really cool, man! You did a good job on this! The changes in the rhythm went together really well. This would be great music for a video game like Street Fighter or something with some good action in it.

JimmyTheCaterpillar responds:

Thank you, my good man!

It kind of sounds like elevator music with a beat. lol It's still good though! Great job!

ThaKidd responds:

My music is either really mellow or too elevator...

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning.
