I can see you have several pieces of art here on Newgrounds, but it doesn't seem like you've had much improvement. I'm not sure if this piece right here and others just resemble your style or if you just haven't improved all that much, but I digress. This isn't a bad piece of work, whatsoever. It looks like the actual drawing for Igglypuff, but with just a little more crudeness with the lines.

All of your drawings seem to have some rough lines to them. You'll get better over time. Just keep working on the areas in which you need to improve. You'll get better with each drawing.

Hey! A review! :) I haven't actually drawn in ca. 2 years, and am just getting back to it. Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to work more on the lines ~ Hopefully I'll improve some more. Thanks for the comment.

I'm watching a Let's Play gamer on YouTube play Undertale and I really find a charm to it.

I like how you make Sans look spooky in this piece of art. One side of him has light to it, but the other half does not. I like it and the mood it displays. It makes it seem like he has a bad side and a good side.

Too bad Papyrus isn't in this drawing, though...Sans must be feeling BONELY. :P

Wow, nostalgia hit immediately. I would love to see this pixel model in an old school beat 'em up style game.

I like the shading, it makes him look very spooky. Also, your detailing is pretty good.

I got to say, he looks more like Marilyn Manson than the Joker, but that's not a bad thing. That's just what I thought of when I saw this piece of art.

I've looked at your other pieces of art and think that you're a fine artist. I really enjoyed your piece of work titled "Hellmouth." Keep up the good work!

BrainofBarbedWires responds:

Thank you and I did listen to some of Mr. Manson when creating this so that might be it. Oops, hehe.

This painting looks like an excellent plot for a horror movie. Imagine those spider-like creatures breaking out of those test tubes to hunt those people down, who are observing them. That would be absolutely insane. I mean, just look at the size difference between those two people and those creatures. I really love the picture it paints in my mind.

Besides all of that, the detail of everything, especially the cave that they are in, is amazing. It creates a great atmosphere. It really emphasizes the size difference between the humans and the monsters. It also really adds to the possible discovery factor of them finding these test tube creatures after a long journey. To me, it kind of tells a story about two people finding these creatures underground after a long adventure trying to find what they are standing before or something else entirely.

Like I said, this gives off a great plot for a horror movie and I just love how this scenario that you painted gives off such a suspicious vibe...this is an impressive piece of work.

Three.

haha thank you. c:

Amazing detail with the skulls and bones. Not to mention that the color scheme of pinkish red and blue looks surprisingly pleasant. I'm glad this got the front page because it's well done and skulls look amazing in the right designs.

HeartlessArts responds:

Thanks man I appreciate it a lot :)

Haha, I found this pretty amusing as a huge Pulp Fiction fan. Very nice work both creative and drawing wise.

instantbenz responds:

Many thanks! I plan on doing an illustration more specifically pulp fiction soon. It's on the list ;).

This is such an adorable piece of art that fits the Halloween theme! I love candy corn and this painting makes me want some. I love all of their different facial expressions and that they all have their own unique faces. It has such a cute cartoon look to it and I absolutely love it!

This picture is blue indeed! I like how the bird blends in with the night sky and the clouds. Blue was definitely the best color to paint the bird, in my opinion. I'm not sure what those flakes are supposed to be, though. Stars perhaps? Nonetheless, they look good with this artwork.

A couple of flaws lie within this artwork, unfortunately. The bird's wings are not proportional, for one. One wing is about half the size of the other. For the other flaw, this is probably opinionated, but I think it's beak is a little bit more downward curved than it should be.

VlikeVince responds:

Thx
I tried to use the 2 point perspective method to make the proportions better.
Didnt worked out as well as I thought it would !
Thx for your comment :)
